Voyageur Airways Limited, a Canadian licenced Air Operator and Approved Maintenance Organization, was established in 1968 at its current headquarters of North Bay, Ontario, Canada, and operated as a private corporation until May 2015. Voyageur Airways operates charter, ACMI, and special mission aircraft throughout world.
On May 1, 2015, Voyageur Airways was acquired by Chorus Aviation Inc. Chorus was incorporated in September 2010 and owns companies involved in aviation related businesses. Chorus is headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the trading symbol of CHR.
In 2016, the additional operating companies of Voyageur Aviation Corp, Voyageur Aerotech Inc, and Voyageur Avparts Inc were established.
Voyageur Aviation Corp. provides consistent administrative, quality assurance, and safety management services to Voyageur Airways, Voyageur Aerotech, and Voyageur Avparts.
Voyageur Aerotech, Inc. is an Approved Maintenance Organization and Design Approval Organization and specializes in aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) and Design Engineering Services.
Voyageur Avparts is a company providing a wide range of regional aircraft supply chain services, including the provisioning of aircraft parts, inventory management, inventory consignment services, component repair and overhaul, and aircraft end-of-life management.
